Timer and sound data

The current timer code processes your selected mode, remaining time, and volume in browser memory. The timer stores its mode, end time, paused remaining time, and volume in localStorage on this device to restore a session after a refresh. Audio never starts automatically. Optional website analytics is described below. Pink noise is generated locally.

Optional website analytics

If you allow analytics, we use Google Analytics 4 to understand visits, referral sources, page views, device/browser categories, and engagement. Google may use analytics cookies to distinguish browsers. Your choice is stored on this device until you change it or clear site data. The analytics tag is loaded only after permission. Declining analytics does not affect the timer. You can change your choice using Analytics preferences in the footer. This inline analytics notice does not overlay Google’s advertising consent dialog. Google Signals and ad personalization signals are disabled for this analytics stream. Learn more at How Google uses information or use the Google Analytics opt-out add-on.

Hosting and access

Your browser connects to the hosting provider to load this website. Hosting and access services may process technical information such as IP addresses, request details, and security logs under their own policies. If the host requests sign-in, it handles that process separately from the timer.

Advertising and cookies

This website includes Google AdSense code for site verification and advertising. Manual display ads are placed in reading content below the timer when consent and advertising inventory permit. Auto ads and automatic ad experiments are disabled in the publisher settings. Google and other third-party advertising providers may use cookies or similar technologies to serve and measure ads, including ads based on previous visits to this and other websites. Personalized advertising depends on applicable consent choices and account settings. Learn how Google uses data at Google partner sites. You can manage Google personalized advertising at My Ad Center, and participating third-party providers at AdChoices.

Advertising consent and withdrawal

Google’s CMP manages advertising consent when a published message applies to your location. It may appear on your first visit or when a new decision is required. Use Privacy and cookie settings in the footer to reopen Google’s message and change or withdraw consent. If no message applies, that control explains its availability. Analytics preferences are separate. Advertising requests are held until Google’s consent API confirms that advertising storage and user-data consent are granted or not applicable. Unknown or unconfigured consent keeps requests blocked; this site requests non-personalized ads only.

Local timer records

Each tool stores its mode, remaining time and deadline under its own localStorage key. Volume is shared between tools. The study timer keeps date-based completed-session IDs on this device. Audio never starts automatically after loading a page. These records are not uploaded to a task database. Clear site storage in your browser to remove them.

Optional features and deleting local records

Custom minutes, fullscreen-control visibility, completion-notification preference, automatic-next-session preference and local-record preference are stored per tool. Today’s task text, checked states and completed focus-session IDs are stored by local calendar date. Notification permission is requested only when you enable completion notifications; revoke it in your browser’s site settings. The Delete Still local records button removes timer records, tasks, preferences and the separate analytics choice on this device. It does not change advertising consent or browser notification permission. Offline mode is off by default; enabling it registers a service worker and caches only this site’s pages, icons and scripts. Disable offline mode in Settings to unregister it and remove Still’s shell cache. No ads, Google scripts or analytics responses are cached. Local tasks are not sent to Analytics. This app does not provide a shared study room or cloud sync.
